Currently, we are prioritising funds for the cooperative COOPEGANH at Novo Horizonte, Bahia, Brazil. This mine produces Golden Rutilated Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Clear Quartz and other rutile varieties. We are working with geologist and sustainability expert Brian Cook, the Secretary of Health and the Mayors Office to ensure that funds are allocated efficiently.
Funds will go to towards the following two projects:
COVID-19 Food Security
During COVID-19 we are deeply concerned for the vulnerable and elderly who are living remotely and facing food security issues. With the help of the team in the ground, we are putting together care packages to include food basics such as manioc flour, coffee, rice, beans, sugar, cooking oil, and crackers, plus sanitary basics such as soap, alcohol gel and face masks. Each care package will be a 2 week supply for a family of 4 and costs £20.00.
Safety Masks

We are working with a trusted team on the ground which includes members of the cooperative, the Health Secretary and the Majors Office to ensure the safe and fair allocation of funds.
